Journal Day 10
Juniper Campground
Rocky Harbor, Newfoundland

We worked our way up and into the Gros Morne National Park...   staying at Juniper Campground in Rocky Harbor which is the middle of the Park.    It is a private park with full services... guess we are getting spoiled, as we like the electric hookup to run our portable heater and computers...

Along the drive into the Park we got some early views of the beauty of the area..  some of the views reminded me of my trip to Alaska, others were quite different..    after checking into the park, we drove furthur up along the coast...  we could easily see how Rocky Harbor got its name...   also there was evidence of the strong winds in this area pounding the island as the trees in some areas were almost bent to the ground....   on the way back we got our first view of a moose in Newfoundland..
